Nuit is the Goddess of the sky, daughter of
Shu and Tefnut and
mother of Isis, Osiris,
Horus
and Nepthys. She
is represented as an arched woman with her feet and arms touching
the ground. Her
arms and legs represent the four "pillars on
which the sky rests", or North, South, East and West.
